Innovation and Intellectual Property Management (IIPM) Laboratory

Graham Bell, one of IfM Engage TPA’s associated with the Innovation and IP Management lab, is excited to announce the launch of a new book on “Business Secrets Management – Strategies to Protect, Extracts and Maximise Value”.

As an expert group of 13 authors, have together collaborated in a work stream within the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) to create an innovative view on confidential information and trade secrets with governance and business value creation. The book was formerly launched in April, during the LESI 2025 Annual Conference in Singapore.

The combined perspectives come from business, academia and legal practitioners, from types of companies (size and sector) and courts of justice world-wide, mainly in the European Union, the United States, Canada, Philippines and Singapore.

Together, the authors have extensive experience in building up companies’ policies (whether national, foreign or multinational) to govern, protect and value confidential information and data, selecting and protecting competitive advantages, organizing their legal protection through programs (whether legal, social, organizational, IT, etc.), drafting and negotiating adequate contractual terms and conditions, managing disputes before the courts or through mediation or arbitration, whether as plaintiff or defendant.

The book, Business Secrets Management – Strategies to Protect, Extracts and Maximise Value, addresses why Business Secrets should be a concern for companies.
