Industry

We aim to help industry making better strategic decisions about their IP for more effective IP and innovation management.  

We engage with industry through a variety of means. Already during our research we actively collaborate with industry for developing evidence-based tools for better strategic IP management, such as our Cambridge IP roadmapping approach. These interactions often happen in form of workshops. In addition, we work with industry and other organisations through consultancy projects typically via IfM Engage. 

Occasionally, we host events at the IfM, such as the half-day Strategic IP Forum that has brought together interested individuals from the Cambridge region and beyond including CTOs, portfolio managers, VPs, Technology, Heads of Innovation/IP/licensing, etc. from a range of manufacturing companies and sectors to engage in an expert community.
