Innovation and Intellectual Property Management (IIPM) Laboratory

Frank Tietze became Cambridge's first Professor of Innovation Engineering in 2022. 

He leads the Innovation and Intellectual Property Management (IIPM) Lab, which is part of the Centre for Technology Management (CTM) and the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), also known as Division E "Manufacturing and Management" of the Department of Engineering.

The IIPM Lab takes an engineering management (firm level) perspective and a problem focused research approach on IP for distributed, collaborative and cumulative innovation processes and systems.
