Innovation and Intellectual Property Management (IIPM) Laboratory

Prof. Tietze had the chance of visiting Muenster in Germany earlier this week. During his stay, Prof. Tietze, together with collaborators from Münster, including Prof. Jens Leker and Prof. Simon Lux visited the recently opened “FFB PreFab” at the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production (FFB). This facility provides excellent research opportunities for sustainable and efficient battery cell production. It was fabulous to see the federal and regional governments investing €600+ mio. into such relevant topic to help ensure Europe's future competitive in the global landscape. The agenda also included a tour across different parts of the University, such as the Technology Park Münster, which offered a comprehensive insight into the vibrant innovation landscape of the region.

A bit thanks to all collaborators from the University of Münster and particularly André Hemmelder for organising the visit, as well as the Fraunhofer FFB, for the productive exchange and good cooperation. The visit enabled a valuable exchange on research and teaching, as well as the identification of synergies for further joint projects. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership and seeing everyone again soon.
