Ways to engage

We strive to help industry making better strategic decisions about their IP for more effective IP and innovation management.

We engage with industry through a variety of means. Already during our research we actively collaborate with industry for developing evidence-based tools for better strategic IP management, such as our Cambridge IP roadmapping approach. These interactions often happen in form of workshops.

Our IP interest group (IPIG) provides a platform for senior managers from selected companies to engage in regular peer to peer discussions. Occasionally we also run IP management events, such as short practicioner conference called Strategic IP Forum.

In addition, we work with industry and other organisations through consultancy projects typically via IfM ECS

Strategic IP Forum

The Strategic IP Forum (SIPF) is an open event series launched in spring 2014 that focuses on strategic IP topics from a business perspective.

SIPF aims to bring together interested individuals from the Cambridge region and beyond including CTOs, portfolio managers, VPs, Technology, Heads of Innovation/IP/licensing, etc. from a range of manufacturing companies and sectors to engage in an expert community.

The forum is jointly organised with Avidity IP. To keep updated with information about future events, please join our LinkedIn group.
